Tamtero 20mg Tablet contains Tamoxifen citrate, a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) used in the treatment and prevention of hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer. It works by blocking the effects of estrogen on breast tissue, which helps slow or stop the growth of cancer cells that depend on estrogen.

Tamoxifen binds to estrogen receptors in breast tissue and prevents estrogen from stimulating cancer cell growth. In fertility treatment, it helps regulate hormonal signals that promote ovulation.
